The Sautee Inn is proud to showcase the work of acclaimed artist Wil Bosbyshell, whose Climate Conversations Collection is currently on display throughout the inn. Guests are invited to enjoy his evocative pieces as part of the inn’s commitment to blending art, culture, and hospitality.

Bosbyshell received both his BFA (as a member of ROTC) and MBA from the University of Georgia before serving six years as an officer in the U.S. Army. After a successful career in the private sector, he was awarded a residency at the Hungarian Multicultural Center in Budapest, which set the course for his artistic career. For more than two decades, he has also served as an arts professor at local and community colleges, inspiring the next generation of creatives.

His work has been exhibited widely in both solo and group shows, including Shain Gallery, Central Piedmont Community College, and Elder Gallery, where his participation in the 2018 exhibition Vicarious received critical acclaim in the New York Times. His paintings have also been featured in Watercolor Magazine and numerous regional publications, and can be found in private and corporate collections across the country.

In addition to his artistry, Bosbyshell is deeply dedicated to community service, with a special focus on youth. He has served on boards and in leadership roles with organizations such as Scouts and the Group Living Housing Corporation at the University of Georgia. He currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
