About
our story begins in the 1800s
The Sautee Inn was built in the late 1800s and soon began welcoming guests traveling through the Sautee Nacoochee area. Sturdy stone seating remains in our front yard, taking us back to the days when guests sat and waited for horse-drawn carriages.
Over the years, The Sautee Inn has been a hotel, a personal residence and even a restaurant.
Now restored and equipped as a bed and breakfast, The Sautee Inn gives guests an historic experience with modern conveniences like plush bedding, fresh towels, bathroom amenities, 24/7 coffee and bottled water, and free wifi.
Sounds of horse hooves have been replaced with friendly banter while enjoying our grounds and crackling campfires under the night sky.

your hosts are eager to exceed your expectations
In May 2022, The Sautee Inn opened under new management, and our new owners are ready to make your stay comfortable and memorable. As one guest recently said, “You all make me feel like a queen.”
Meet your hosts:
Rebecca Hollis,
Owner & Inn Keeper
A native to the Georgia mountains who currently lives on the property, Rebecca has owned her own bakery and is an accomplished chef. She’s often found pulling a perfectly baked loaf of bread from the oven or topping off a Pinterest-worthy casserole with just the right seasoning.
Ron Geraneo,
Owner & Inn Keeper
Ron is a trained actor and a dealer in antiquities. You will find many of his treasures spread throughout the Inn. With a background in marketing and restaurant management, Ron is ready to bring his talents to the hospitality industry. One of things he enjoys most at The Sautee Inn is the flavor of the morning dew rising up from the mountains.
Mike Hollis,
Owner & Inn Keeper
Also on property full time, Mike is an experienced home renovator who’s working hard to retain The Sautee Inn’s character and charm while refurbishing it to make your stay even better. In addition, Mike takes care of the grounds and is the one to build you that perfect fire in our outdoor pit overlooking the mountains.
Savana Sweeney,
Assistant Inn Keeper
Savana is also native to the North Georgia mountains, having lived in nearby Cleveland. She studied at North Georgia Technical College and helps make sure guests have an incredible experience at The Sautee Inn.
